These terms and conditions apply to all online and distance selling purchases and are designed to provide a safe environment for you to shop remotely.  All goods and services are sold in accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000 No.2334).

Your use of all pages on this website means you accept these terms and conditions.  Bandland Limited, however, reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, without warning, in order to comply with statutory changes.

Purchase of Goods

All orders placed on www.bandland.co.uk are subject to acceptance by Bandland Limited.  Bandland Limited reserve the right to refuse an order under certain circumstances.

Once you have placed an order online – you will receive an automated email with an order number and an itemised list of goods ordered.  Please note that this is not an acceptance of the order.

A contract between the customer and Bandland Limited is accepted once the items have been dispatched unless otherwise canceled.

Please note that we may cancel an order if we do not obtain authorization from the bank, alerted to any suspected fraud, there have been errors in the pricing or description of the goods, or the goods are no longer in stock for any reason.

All credit and debit card processing is encrypted and handled securely by Barclays Epdq.  Bandland Limited are not able to see your credit card details at any time.

Bandland Limited accept the following cards: VISA, VISA Debit, Mastercard, Solo, Maestro and Visa Electron.

 

Delivery of Goods

Bandland Limited strive to have all orders received by 2.00pm on any business day (Monday-Friday), where the item is in stock, sent out on the same business day.  This excludes delivery on weekends, Public and Bank holidays. 
Bandland Limited will send the customer an email confirming dispatch and provide a tracking number from the courier if available.  Please note that deliveries from the courier will arrive between 8.00am and 6.00pm on a work day – and that specified times cannot be requested.

All our deliveries over £50 are dispatched using a premium next day delivery service by our designated express courier – TNT.  Certain remote and outlying postcodes are excluded from this service.  You will be advised when your order is placed.

Bandland Limited offer a free next day delivery service for any order over £100 and under 20kgs to any UK mainland address (excluding Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland).

Warranty

All goods are supplied with a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty unless specified.  Bandland Limited are not responsible for arranging any extended warranty offered by the manufacturer – this must be arranged by the customer.  Bandland Limited will however always assist the customer wherever possible in dealing with manufacturers in the case of any problem.

 

Cancellations, Refunds & Returns

Under the conditions outlined in the Distance Selling Regulations, Bandland Limited operates a 7 day cooling-off returns policy for products that are still in their original condition.  This allows UK and EU customers to cancel their order up to 7 days after receipt of their goods. If you wish to cancel your order during this 7 day period, please notify us in writing by letter or by email at sales@bandland.co.uk.  Please note that telephone cancellations must be confirmed by email by both parties within the stated period.

Please note that Bandland Limited do not offer a 7 day cooling-off period to items that have been specifically requested by the customer and not typically stocked by Bandland Limited has been ordered in. Any bespoke customer requested customised items, any items covered under health & safety such as microphones, headphones, earphones etc where an ear or mouth has come into contact with the product, also any software, media, DVDs, CDs etc. where the packaging has been unsealed (unless faulty).

Returns & Return Charges

If you are returning an item, as agreed under the 7 day cooling-off period you should return the goods to us within 14 days, at your own cost and take reasonable care as detailed in The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000 No.2334).  Click HERE for full details. Please note that your refund will be minus any costs incurred by Bandland Limited in using our express courier service for the original dispatch.

The risk and cost of returning an item shall be accepted by the Customer unless Bandland Limited have been notified that the goods have arrived damaged or are faulty – and has been verified by us within the specified period and collection will be arranged by Bandland Limited.

In cases of faulty goods then Bandland Limited must be notified within 28 days and we will arrange collection and replacement.  Outside of the 28 days we will arrange collection and arrange for the item to be returned to the Manufacturer for repair under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty.  The policy is invalidated if the goods have been altered in any way from their original condition, or if the fault is due to misuse by the purchaser.

Once an item has been received by Bandland Limited we will credit your account with a full refund which is normally processed on the day the item has been received by us.

Bandland Limited must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of goods, if they have arrived damaged caused by shipping or negligence, or if the order is incomplete (i.e. parts missing).

 

Privacy Policy

Bandland Limited take our customers’ privacy and confidentiality very seriously and will not disclose customer’s information to any third parties and will take every step to protect their data.  All the information we collect is stored securely and encrypted using industry standard 128bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificates provided by GeoTrust
